Construction Progress, March 23, 2012


The photos above show the installation of rough plumbing and mechanical systems on the ground floor. 

Formerly the Fiction and Nonfiction collections.

We are so lucky to have these beautiful windows.  You are looking into the former Young Adults section, circulation desk, and staff offices. 

This photo really captures the beauty of the original building.  I love the light and openness, and the pattern of the ceiling.  I am feeling a bit nostalgic!

The mezzanine level used to contain the Mystery Section.  Now it will be office space.

    Could you include furniture or shelving plans for the finished inside of the finished Library expansion?

    If construction goes according to plan, what is the estimated opening date for the library?

    We are on schedule for a move in date in late April/early May of 2013. It will be here before you know it. In the meantime, visit Boyden Library at Chestnut Green.
