Construction proceeds! Workers have been stripping away the inside of the old building, preparing for a new and improved library. The interior of the existing building has been gutted - just the walls remain. This is a view of the space that contained the Children's Library, as well as the old downstairs lobby. Workers are starting to rough in some of the mechanical and plumbing systems. While this doesn't look too exciting from the outside, it will prepare the building for all the wonderful changes ahead!
